Not worth it

The location is excellent for beach, bars and restaurants.

Definitely not worth the money. The room wasn’t clean. The bathroom was tiny. We were told breakfast was until 10.30 but was actually until 9.30. We arrived down at 9.20 and the staff rudely cleared away the breakfast as we were trying to get some. Wouldn’t stay here again even though location is good as there’s plenty more around.

It is located on a good area, safe and very calm.

It is located on a good area, safe and very calm. You feel like at home and the staff was really friendly. They let me do the check-in earlier.

Not enough showers/toilets and lack of space in the rooms for luggage. The last day I asked if I can take a shower and I was told that I have to pay 15reales... on the evening that lady wasnt there and I was able to take a shower without extra money.

Good but not very

They try to keep it clean .Wifi works well. Great location.

Only 2 showers, 2 sinks no soap, 3 toilets for 24+ guests, cockroaches, crowded and dated bedrooms, small ugly kitchen, staff cant provide info about tours, trips. Cant stay in front, outside after 10pm. Not a vibrant, active fun hostel.

Did not feel like a welcoming hostel.

Did not feel like a welcoming hostel. They are more focused on everyone's payments than taking care of a pleasant stay for the people who are staying in the hostel. Luckily it was cheap and quite clean, but that's about it.

Cute house in a patio, very safe, nice location

The staff was pretty cold, not very helpful, the rooms are too small for the amount of people staying and there is no space to interact with the other guests. The breakfast was very basic.

The hosts are very accommodating and friendly.

The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They allowed me to store my luggage since I arrived earlier than check-in and left later than check-out. The location is also very strategic - near the beach, the metro station, and the bus stops.

The breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, fruits, coffee, and juice) can have more variety. The rooms can get a bit messy and overcrowded when it is fully occupied, which is not entirely the fault of the hostel but also the guests staying.

Small and Friendly Hostel

Great Staff, very clean and Great Location. Breakfast was excellent as well was wifi. Its a simple place, safe and friendly, that works fine. You will feel welcomed.

The position is good, 10 min walking from Ipanema beach and...

The position is good, 10 min walking from Ipanema beach and very close to the bus stop. the area seemed pretty safe.

The place is dirty, the kitchen especially. breakfast was practically non-existant, a couple of bananas and some bread with ham and cheese left.. absolutely overrated.

good location, otherwise nothing special

The location is perfect!

Staff lived in the same room as we and came back from the parties in the middle of the night. Only two showers and only one of them with hot water. Very simple breakfast. Not really clean.

There weren't enough bathrooms for the number of people and only one had hot shower. It wasn't very clean either.
